What is EXIF data?
Hidden details saved inside a photo, such as the GPS location, the camera model, the date and the time. Anyone who gets the file can read them.
Does it lower the quality?
In most cases no. The picture data is copied as it is. A JPG that is stored sideways is turned upright and saved again, so its quality may change slightly.
Which formats work?
JPG, PNG and WebP. Other formats such as AVIF are not supported yet.
